Art, Music and Moving Mountains with Matt Cliff
Matt Cliff is a local artist who has had his work featured on Brandin Leas' guitar from Jetta and the Ghost Tree, The Black Angles guitar and Album cover, as well as concert posters for ACL and Clearfork. His art can also be seen on local band shirts like Un Chien and Holy Moly. I first heard about Matt on another local podcast call Off Radar. I showed interest in having him on and here he his. Local boy did good. We talk about his days working at the Aardvark in the kitchen to doing a mural on the wall. We talk about his experience working with a band like the Black Angles and what its like to paint a guitar and see your work proudly displayed in front of thousands of people. There is actually a lot here in this podcast from self importance/universal importance, should bands play a little or a lot, death, moving mountains and the philosophy of not being an A Hole. This guy is interesting, very charming, and super talented. The music for this podcast was picked out by the guest and he did a fantastic job bringing you some groovy local jams. The show starts with Skeleton Coast - Rupees the middle track is The Henderson - Celery and the closing track is Secret Ghost Champion - Healer
