Dustin and Jeff sitting under a tree p.o.d.c.a.s.t.i.n.g
This is the one! I am not sure I have done a better podcast than this one right here. No podcast last week, so this week you get a double shot. The first hour I sit with my podcaster in crime Dustin Schneider from The Jerry Jonestown Massacre. We talk about the party coming up Sept 27th at Shipping & Receiving. We get into all the bands. I happy am. The Confounded. He tells a rivoting story about Henry the Archer. There is Hot Meat Ceral (you have to listen to find out) and of course Waking Alice. We also have some questions for Dustin from one of our favorite people Sweet Sweet Rebecca Dugan. Then the record gets flipped over and the table gets turned and Dustin interviews me for the second hour. He asks where I come from and where I have been. What makes Jeff the Lord and why I decided to do this podcast in the first place. He ask me about music, my favorite people and places. I talk about how I stalk Vincent Neil Emerson, my undying love for Ansley The-Destroyer Dougherty and the greatness that is The Hendersons. We talk preaching, pentecost and hands on healing. This one has everything in it. Music, photography and guess what? I am in a fantasy football league. Who knew? Wait till you hear how I am doing. Thanks to The Live Oak for a wonderfull spot up top, chips and salsa and sweet tea. Oh yea and a left handed snake bite. The first track is one of mine. Sexy Sally. The middle track is also one of mine called Homie Sexuals on Parade and the last track is one of Dustins old projects called Plastikon and the song is called Rising Tide inspired by hurricane Katrina. This episode brought to by Plastik Object Photography! Happy first day of fall!!!
