East Texas Blues with Vincent Neil Emerson
I put on my best western shirt, picked up a six pack of Rahr beer and waited for the arrival of Vincent Neil Emerson. When Vincent showed up at the house Lucky Luke McGlathery was along for the ride. With beer in hand and ashtray out the show begins. Darlin' I've been lonely is the opening song played live by Vincent. At the midway point he plays a song called East Texas Blues. The conversation contains loss and tragedy, drugs and prison, guitars and girls, his upcoming record with dreamy soundz, sweet tea, fried chicken and eating squirrel. I had so much fun with this podcast. Vincent is very cool and very very interesting. His sound is one of yesteryear and he has a way of striking a timeless chord while keeping it fresh. We plug a couple of shows at the end and we get a cameo from lucky Luke. Vincent closes the show with another great track that I didn't get the name of. FInd and friend Vincent Neil Emerson on facebook and check out his youtube videos. Dig the podcast and thank you very much for sharing this crazy cool podcast experience with me.
