First off I want to say that this would not have happened if it wasn't for Joe Tacke and Zach Zanetich. Big props to those boys. So yea Pop Up Fest happened in Capps Park and the 3 of us were there to document it. Join us on a journey through art, music, food and drones. Zach interviews Captain Funky,a 12 year old named Penelope and Joe interviews Russell Jack from Gollay, Troody and Hightower. I (ahem ahem) interview council woman Ann Zadeh and President of the Southhemphill Heights Neighborhood Association Paul Millender. We ran into a lot of local musicians. We talk with Joshua Irwin, Richard from Henry the Archer (with Dustin from Jerry Jonestown Massacre at his side) Tornup, Broke String Burnett and Jessica Burnett from Phantom Sensation, Rebecca Elizabeth and Zach of I Happy Am, and Kaity Roberts a wonderful 12 year old who kicked the days live music off. We didn't get to talk with James Zametz because he was running around like a mad man but this event wouldn't be if not for him. This neighborhood and dare I say city wouldn't be what it is without him. He put on a fantastic event and I hope you come along for the ride. We also talked with all the vendors.
