Here's to you Katie Robertson

This week on the podcast we had the lovely and talented Katie Robertson. You may know her from Vanillaface Jones, Foxtrot Uniform, Chucho, or any other number of projects she is involved in around town. She was baffled as to why I wanted her on the show but as soon as you hear her start to sing Right Arm you know exactly why. She is an amazing pianist and vocalist, she teaches the kiddos around the neighborhood, rides her bike everywhere she goes and brings a spirit of joy with her. I had a really good time talking with her about the community, music, open mic comedy at The Boiled Owl Tavern, and the animals in her wall. The middle track is a Foxtrot Uniform song called Not Alone of off Cisco and its super groovy. What a great track and Katie sounds fantastic in verse 2. We also talk about not going to Psych Fest and the loss of Jason Alfords van. Cody Soape gets mentioned as well as Vincent Neil Emerson, Benjamin Napier, Tyrel Choat, and many more. This was a blast to do. Live music its been a while but its back with a porpoise. The closing track is called Eating Crow. I really think you guys will dig this one. Thanks as always.
