Joe Savage and his Student Loan Blues
It was the witching hour when Mr. Savage arrived. He worked late and we started the podcast about 1130pm Sunday night. I had a really good time with Joe. The show starts with Joes song Let your guns slip. This song is so good that I had a hard believing that anyone I come in contact with actually wrote it. Joe Savage did write it and man is it incredible. I just love that song!! Anyways Joe did something really cool called In the music room. It's a great show, local so check it out. You can find them online and on facebook. Good interview with Joe and great tunes to boot. We talk a little bit about his past and where he came from. Then when get into teaching. Joe used to teach and so we spend a little time on education, kids, art, and student loans. Then Joe bust into Student Loan Blues. This song is a Bob Dylan Dont think twice its all right kinda jam. After a couple of smokes on the porch we come back and try to lighten it up a bit and we talk about my attraction to Vincent Neil Emerson, our meeting at the Aardvark and girls, girls, girls. The podcast end sneaks up on us and Joe closes out the show with a fun song called Sauvignon Rye.
