Lucky Luke Leaves the Lord Listless!
Luke McGlathery is one hell of a singer/songwriter (reguardless what he tells you). Over the past year Luke and I have become good buddies. I have had many of wonderful conversations with him. So when he came over with Vincent Neil Emerson and "some girls" in tow I didnt expect the conversation to be so awkward. After he left I felt kinda bad. I want every podcast to end with the listener thinking what a cool person. I want to check out their stuff. I felt as if I had failed Luke in this. I went to Lolas to see Luke and his band play. I also saw Vincent and The Old Souls play as well as Denver Williams. When I came home that night I listened again. I couldnt stop laughing. Its really quite hilarious. Luke came off funny and charming and modest, which he is. I think you will enjoy this bumpy ride. We talk about all kinds of things including the norm as well as jack shacks, super powers, Miley Cyrus, local venues, local bands, the wherehouse and Luke Wades Sunday Singer Songwriter Showcase at Queen City. The opening track is Blind Luck, the middle number is Everybody and the last is a cover called Macho B by Rlyad Manuel Elmasri. You can see Luke and his band Sept 19 at the Grotto with Luke Wade. Like his facebook page and check out his album Wherehouse sessions on soundcloud. https://soundcloud.com/luke_mcglathery or download it for free at bandcamp https://lukemcglathery.bandcamp.com/album/where-house-sessions
